Fly/Beach Day!

Today was the day Papa Gene finally got to have his Christmas Present from the Family... a glider ride from Dillingham Airfield!





Papa Gene had a hard time squeezing his long legs in, but once he was in, he was ready to take off, with a BIG smile on his face!

We watched Papa Gene take off, then we headed across the street to the beach. What a beautiful day at Army Beach!

Before we knew it, Papa Gene came in for a smooth landing, after a 2 hour circle island tour...and it was time to go home!
