Kung Hee Fat Choy!

Today was Chinese New Years! We kicked off the day with our own lion parade around school. We got to play our instruments and bang our drums to ward off the bad.










After our parade we got to try some yummy Chinese treats: Moon Cake, Rice Cake and Gau! Our hands were sooo sticky from the Gau we all lined up to wash our hands.








After snack time, we waited patiently with our Li See for the REAL lion dancers to arrive!









When the Lions finally arrived, the drums were VERY loud!



We returned to our classrooms so the lions could bless our class.










And Kili just HAD to pull the Lion's Tail...
